Dr. HartDr. Sara Hart has been a practitioner of the healing arts for many years, guided by the dynamic state of balance observed in the natural world, the knowledge of modern technology and the wisdom of ancient traditions.

Working for 10 years in home health and institutional settings, the limitations of pharmaceutical based therapies were apparent and a holistic approach to healing was sought. Through apprenticeships and formal study she was able to gain expertise in the field of herbal medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine, acupuncture, nutritional and supplemental therapies.

Dr. Hart is a graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine with a Doctoral degree in Naturopathic medicine and a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine.  She received thorough training in western medicine including physical diagnosis and laboratory evaluation of health and disease. In addition, the study of Classical Chinese medicine includes the energetic assessment of an individuals’ total health and organ function before problems may show up with western methods. In total, the systems combine to offer a great understanding of each patient’s strengths and challenges. The tools available with Naturopathic and Chinese medicine provide endless opportunity to grow and change along a path toward optimal health. During her education, Sara had extensive training in detoxification programs for drug, chemical or environmental toxin exposures as well as cancer care, mental health support and general wellness for all ages.

Having grown up in the vast beauty of the Rocky Mountains, Sara has always had a strong sense of environmental stewardship. “Live simply, that others may simply live,” was a motto that she has tried to live true to. Finding ways to provide deeply healing treatments using the least harmful materials naturally led to her current practice. Combining the skills of the Naturopathic and Chinese medicine systems along with Anthroposophical medicine, German biological medicine and the 5-element style of acupuncture, she has the ability to prescribe the simplest treatment plan to improve the balance of the entire ecosystem.
