Notice your body, your torso and movement of breath through the upper (chest), middle (stomach) and lower (abdomen).
Imagine you are sitting on a beach and the ocean wave breaks and swirls in around you.
1. At this moment, allow the abdomen to draw in as the air exits the lungs.
2. As the water comes to a stop and prepares to change direction, gently pause in a moment of stillness and silence.
3. Then as the water moves out to sea and gathers into a new wave, inhale silently, allowing the air to fill the abdomen.
4. As the wave swells and prepares to come towards the shore again, enjoy another moment of stillness and silence.
This exercise has a calming effect on the Emotional Body and establishes a relationship between the inside and outside spaces. This is a fundamental exercise for any condition or disease, as breathing is the basic rhythm of life.
